Downstream through Germany’s narrowest wine valley: from the Porta Nigra in Trier via the Roman town of Neumagen-Dhron to Bernkastel-Kues, along the Moselle loops through Traben-Trarbach and Zell to Cochem and its imperial castle, up to Eltz Castle and finally to the Deutsches Eck in Koblenz. 202 kilometres over four days, almost flat and paved throughout.

Route: Mosel-Radweg (124 mi). It is fixed – “regenerate” swaps stops, not the way. Days: 4 of about 31 mi each, overnight in the nearest town on the route.
